I started in residential appraisal, then residential brokerage. I built a Coldwell Banker office in Mountain Brook, Alabama, to more than 100 agents, then sold my ownership interest. From there I moved into commercial valuation, commercial brokerage and commercial lending, and founded two title companies along the way. About 30 years in all.
